Posted November 12, 2018 07:03:23 A new survey conducted by the Polygon Network reveals that the Black Business Degree Program (BBDP) is one of the most popular businesses degree programs on the Polycom platform.
The survey found that 88 percent of Black Business degree applicants were able to earn their first BDC degree within four years, compared to only 46 percent of applicants from other races.
The Black Business College’s Black Business Career Center is a premier provider of training in the field of Black business.
As a Black business, the Black business degree is not only a highly sought-after credential, but it is also a coveted one for some Black leaders.
“Black entrepreneurs are in demand because they bring a unique perspective to a range of industries and professions,” said Jordon Lewis, Founder and President of the BBDP.
“I believe that the BDC offers a unique opportunity to help young entrepreneurs succeed.”
“I am looking forward to the opportunity to lead the first Black BDC business to open in the U.S. for the first time in its history,” said Ben Johnson, Founder of the Black BCD.
“Having the chance to open my first Black business in the country will be a great experience for me and my family.”BDC applicants will be able to receive two years of BDC certification, including one year of a full-time internship and one year, up to three years of part-time work experience.
They will be expected to pass a variety of skills tests and have a strong academic background, including advanced placement and certification.BDCs will be evaluated on a four-year basis and will be awarded a Black Business Business Certificate (BBBC) upon completion of the four- or five-year program.
The program is open to all applicants, regardless of race, gender, gender identity, and disability status.
