Small business owners need a little extra support from Comcast.
In fact, it may help to give them a little bit more.
Comcast announced Wednesday that it will provide $5,000 to help companies who are interested in pursuing a small business grant program.
The grant is designed to help small businesses find and hire the best business advisors and consultants they can afford.
Comcast will give grants to companies that have to apply for them by June 30.
The company will also offer grants to businesses that qualify, and it will give the companies a 10 percent discount for the first year of their participation.
The program has been used by Comcast since 2005, but it’s now up to a total of $6.3 billion in grants for small businesses, according to the company.
The $5 million grant is the second in as many months, and the first of its kind in the company’s history.
In April, Comcast granted a grant of $4 million to five small businesses to help them expand.
This grant program will provide grants for companies that apply through May 15.
Comcast is also giving grants to small businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area, where Comcast operates its first large-scale, 100-megawatt fiber network, called Nextel 1.0.
